(Use from same account in which you made the skill is wierd) How to use Jovo for production post testing?

Hi,
I just read the tutorials for getting started, they were great!

But I saw this mention at the end of all tutorials that the deployed AWS Endpoint code and the intents(The whole thing) can ONLY BE USED FROM THE DEVELOPER ACCOUNT ITSELF.

I understand the importance for this during testing but it makes no sense to have this during production…

Any Corrections/ links to more info are welcome!

To make your Alexa Skill/Google Action used by more than just the developer account, you can do 2 things (mainly in this order):

  • Start a beta test on the respective platforms and invite users
  • Submit your app for certification. If it passes, anyone can use it

Thanks for your reply. I’m sorry I didn’t have complete knowledge about the same. I read the first tutorial and assumed it to be Jovo’s limitation in the end. But it’s a great framework! Thanks again!
